The State Bar was the target of a ransomware attack on the evening of Monday, September 30. The attack took down all of our servers, but we are making significant progress on our system recovery and restoration. As of October 8, the State Bar’s websites were back up, including the Certified Paralegal website. However, the member portal and the search function on the Certified Paralegal website remain down. If you are a certified paralegal and need to update your contact information with the State Bar, or if you are attempting to verify the status of a certified paralegal, please email Aaliyah Pierce at apierce@ncbar.gov.

We expect the website to have intermittent periods of downtime while we continue the recovery process and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We appreciate your patience as we work toward the restoration of our website.
